Part of my job was to create RFP leave-behinds for the sales team to for Logan Marketing. The Creative Director created the actual pitch pieces and creative plan, but I created the "package" that would hold the entire pitch: the FIRST IMPRESSION. The entire thing was made from scratch with fabric, cardboard, and paper with spiral coil binding. QuarkXpress, Hand-building
I was tasked with designing the space to hold an open marketplace with a TOTAL New Orleans feel to it. It was supposed to hold high-end designer "pop-up" stores — temporary shops for major events... We were going to have all glass walls and doors etched with French Quarter ironwork fencing plus many more bells and whistles. Hand rendering
I was freelancing for another small, semi-local agency. One of their clients was celebrating 100 years of business and wanted to give a coin as a gift. Illustrator The same coin client also asked for a float mock-up with a steamboat. I was not sure if they could add a free-standing wheel so it had that option and one with a wheel incorporated into the float body. Hand rendering, Photoshop mock
The city of Mandeville has a family reunion every year and it doesn't matter if you are from there or not. The committee contacted their screen printer. The owner of that shop was inundated with work and asked me if I wanted to take a crack so I did this. There is an iconic old oak on the lakefront - IYKYK. I went and took some reference photos, then sketched it, scanned it in and added info. Pen and Ink | Photoshop
My favorite charity was run off of a small farm and the owners live on the premise. As they grew, their privacy and safety of everyone on the property became an issue to address. I also was asked to do the rack cards, staff t-shirts and plaques for the different cat houses on the property. Illustrator | Photoshop
My favorite charity realized their life-long community clinic dream! I broke out my vinyl cutting machine and printed signage for the clinic. There was some scrap cedar so that was used for the kitten corral area. Everything was branded with Big Sky Ranch, and Big Sky CARES guides. Ill | Cricut
A lot of people fly into the parking lot. Well, there are some "barn cats" that run free on the property. It was suggested to make a 6' tall, free-standing traffic cat to alert people to slow down. These were my pitches. There was A LOT of Photoshop action for these.
Krewe float headpiece for "Three Leagues Below Sealevel" float theme. New Orleans is about 6’ below sea level & referred to as a bowl. Hurricane Katrina blew through a few years before, flooding our little bowl. There is nothing much at 300 leagues below the sea, Katrina was such a landmark, historical event for our city and we were celebrating 300 years so our NOLA/Katrina fishbowl was created. We did NOT win. We were ROBBED!!!! PS | Ill | Hand Building
Poker Face float theme: Different ethnicities in profile silhouette were used to illustrate diversity and inclusion on the float and all were the queen card - cuz we are ALL queens! The one set up for judging was a subtle snub as it was a "Royal Flush" hand (as in a toilet flush). Somewhere Over the Rainbow was a combination of the song and Wizard of Oz and the south/New Orleans. PS | InD | Hand-building

I have created some stuff over the years... This is my favorite page of my portfolio because it is the best illustration of the diversity of skills I bring to the table. While my original hope BITD was to be an illustrator, I sadly don't those skills all that much these days, but when I get a chance — I am in artist HEAVEN!
